Mystery Shopping

Mystery Shopping is when retailers ask market research companies to pose as a customer and evaluate how the retailer does in a number of areas. The Market Research Company then asks Shoppers to do the task and the shopper receives a fee for doing it.

For the shopper which is what you would be you would have to visit a shop, hotel, restaurant, attraction or airport and access how they work depending on what your assignment is. You will then have to fill in a survey and you will normally get paid expenses and a fee for completing the work

This is done all around the globe and nearly everyone can do it as all the time businesses what to know what they are doing right and what they can improve on.

There are hundreds of companies around that do mystery shopping however we advise you only use a few which are members of the Mystery Shoppers Providers Association (MSPA) as they are the best companies to use and the ones that will pay.
